Businesswoman Aisha reveals reason behind viral “Rest in Hell” post for deceased friend

Businesswoman and content creator Aisha has addressed the context behind a controversial social media post concerning her deceased former friend, Jannah, which recently generated over two million views online. 

Aisha stated that the viral publication led to an influx of direct messages from followers inquiring about the background of their personal estrangement.

According to Aisha, the severe breakdown of their friendship was due to allegations that Jannah attempted to compromise her marriage. Aisha claimed that her former acquaintance frequently sought relationships with married individuals, causing significant personal distress. She stated that these grievances prompted her severe online comments following Jannah’s recent passing, which allegedly occurred due to complications from a cosmetic surgical procedure.

Recalling the origins of their acquaintance, Aisha stated that they first met in St. Barts during a holiday period in 2018, where Aisha was vacationing with her family. Aisha noted that Jannah initially appeared highly affluent, carrying a luxury Birkin bag and wearing high-end jewelry. While their interactions were initially limited, Aisha stated that the dynamic changed during a subsequent New Year’s Eve gathering after Jannah observed her husband’s financial standing during a group dinner.

“That’s when she like logged on to me and she was like, ‘Oh, he has a black girl, girl you did good, blah, blah, blah,'” Aisha said.

The relationship grew temporarily closer throughout 2019, with Jannah visiting Aisha’s family home in New York, attending social outings, and going shopping together. However, Aisha noted that disagreements arose later that year during a discussion regarding lifestyle choices and relationship boundaries, where she advised Jannah against pursuing “involvements with married individuals.”
