Adwoa Safo to contest NPP primaries in Dome-Kwabenya
Former Dome-Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo has announced her intention to contest the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries in the constituency when the party opens nominations.
She said her decision followed consultations and reflection on her commitment to the constituency, despite previously indicating plans to pursue opportunities beyond Dome-Kwabenya.
“After considerable reflection, extensive consultation and broad based engagement with party leadership and executives,” she said, she had decided to present herself for consideration as the party’s parliamentary candidate.
Safo, who represented the constituency for 12 years, said she believed there was more work to be done to advance its development.
“Dome-Kwabenya is home. It has always been home. My commitment to its people remains unwavering, and my resolve to serve remains steadfast,” she stated.
