The itinerary spans ten constituencies across the three counties. In Makueni, the president will visit Mbooni, Kaiti, and Kibwezi East.
His schedule in Machakos includes stops in Mwala, Yatta, and Masinga constituencies. In Kitui, the tour covers Mwingi North, Mwingi Central, Kitui West, and Kitui Rural. Mutuse noted that a detailed itinerary would be released at a later date.
The lawmaker called on both local leaders and ordinary residents to receive the president in large numbers, describing Ruto as "a leader for all Kenyans, regardless of their tribal, regional, or political affiliations."
The three counties the president is set to visit fall within a region that has historically leaned towards opposition politics, making the tour politically significant as Ruto continues to consolidate support ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Meanwhile, the Ukambani visit is part of a broader series of county tours in which Ruto has been commissioning development projects around the country. The tours have not been without controversy.
Most recently, Ruto's activities drew public attention following a dispute with Trans Nzoia governor George Natembeya over the construction of a level five hospital and the new Masinde Muliro Market in Kitale, which the county government said it had built.
The tension brought fresh scrutiny to questions surrounding the constitutional boundaries between the national government and devolved units, particularly regarding which level of government holds the mandate to initiate and commission certain categories of development projects.
