NEC approves 90-day plan to improve living standards

The National Economic Council (NEC) has approved a 90-day economic action plan aimed at improving living standards, reducing the cost of living and making food more affordable for Nigerians amid ongoing economic reforms by President Bola Tinubu’s administration.The plan, presented by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, also prioritises tax harmonisation, the completion of high-impact projects, the removal of investment bottlenecks and targeted household support.
