Ndindi Nyoro Fires a Warning Shot at DCP Leaders as Ruto Remains in His Crosshairs

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has sent a blunt message to leaders of the Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP), urging them to stop engaging in internal political battles and instead focus their attention on President William Ruto.

Nyoro’s remarks come amid growing political tensions within opposition circles, where disagreements over strategy, leadership and the direction of the 2027 General Election continue to attract public attention.

In his message, the outspoken legislator urged DCP leaders to stop wasting time on propaganda and personal attacks insisting that their political focus should remain on challenging Ruto rather than fighting fellow politicians.

“Stop wasting time; our enemy is Ruto,” Nyoro said, in remarks directed at DCP leaders.

The statement could intensify debate over the relationship between Nyoro and allies of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua particularly as political alignments ahead of the next election continue to take shape.

Nyoro has increasingly attracted attention for his views on government policies, economic management and political strategy.

His latest remarks suggest that he wants politicians opposed to Ruto’s administration to concentrate on their shared political objectives instead of allowing disagreements to dominate their engagements.

The message also raises questions about whether opposition leaders can maintain a united front as they prepare for the 2027 electoral contest.

Differences over political messaging and individual ambitions could become significant challenges for those seeking to mount a coordinated challenge against the president.

However, it remains unclear how DCP leaders will respond to Nyoro’s latest remarks or whether the statement will ease or deepen existing tensions.

With the 2027 election approaching Nyoro’s intervention adds another dimension to the unfolding political debate over opposition unity, strategy and the battle against Ruto’s administration.
