Mombasa Governor Tells Ruto Which Party He May use To Vie For Presidency in 2027 if UDA Fails

Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Nassir has jokingly suggested that ODM could give President William Ruto an ODM jersey to run for re-election if UDA fails to convince Kenyans to support him.

Nassir made the remarks while commenting on the political situation ahead of the 2027 General Election, as parties continue positioning themselves for the next electoral contest.

The governor suggested that if the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) struggles to win the confidence of voters, ODM could offer Ruto an alternative political home by allowing him to contest under its ticket.
