Moi’s Family Dealt Huge Blow As KANU Leaders Issues Tough Demands

Tensions are rising near the Eldoret State Lodge following demands by local KANU leaders to halt the alleged occupation of property belonging to the family of the late President Daniel arap Moi. Led by Francis Chemwor, the KANU Trans Nzoia chairperson, the leaders issued a stern warning regarding the ongoing land dispute.

Speaking in a video shared by Standard Digital, Chemwor and his delegation expressed frustration over the situation, stating that the continued occupation of the prime property is unacceptable. The leaders have threatened to take legal action if the alleged encroachment is not addressed immediately. They are calling for the immediate cessation of activities on the land and respect for the former Head of State’s legacy and his family’s estate.

The dispute highlights ongoing sensitivities surrounding the vast properties associated with the Moi family in the Rift Valley. The leaders emphasized that they will not stand by while the family’s assets are allegedly grabbed. They are now demanding that relevant authorities step in to resolve the matter before it escalates further, vowing to pursue justice through the courts should their pleas be ignored.
