Married Woman Begs Husband on Live TV After Having Children With Two Other Men
A woman identified as Abena Ampomaa from Adumang in the Ashanti Region has appealed to her husband, Shaibu Mohammed, popularly known as Chief, for forgiveness after revealing that two of the three children he has raised during their 14-year marriage are allegedly not biologically his.
Abena made the revelation during an appearance on Oyerepa Afutuo, a programme on Oyerepa TV that addresses marital and domestic disputes, on October 20, 2026.
She disclosed that she had relationships with two other men during the marriage, resulting in the birth of two children whose paternity she had concealed from her husband.
According to Abena, one of the pregnancies occurred before the marriage, although she only discovered it after marrying Chief.
She explained that another pregnancy followed a relationship with a different man, whom she claimed had provided financial assistance during a period of marital difficulties when her husband allegedly failed to meet her needs.
Abena said she had known for years that two of the children were not biologically related to Chief but had been afraid to disclose the information.
She eventually decided to confess, explaining that the children in question are currently 14 and 11 years old.
She alleged that the disclosure triggered anger, threats and curses from her husband.
According to her account, Chief threatened to prevent the children’s biological fathers from providing financial assistance and warned that he would harm anyone who attempted to support her.
Abena also alleged that her husband had threatened her father, identified as Mr Nyame, an SDA church leader, who died approximately two weeks before her appearance on the programme.
However, her account does not independently establish any connection between the alleged threats and her father’s death.
Overwhelmed by the situation, Abena expressed remorse for concealing the children’s paternity and appealed to Chief to forgive her.
She further claimed that her husband had threatened to stop supporting the children, arguing that he had already spent about 12 years raising them and intended to make her bear the financial responsibility for the years ahead.
The matter took a more serious turn when Chief was contacted by telephone during the programme.
He expressed anger over the revelation and accused his late father-in-law of knowing about the children’s paternity but deliberately withholding the information.
Chief further alleged that his father-in-law had secretly changed the name he had given to one of the children without his knowledge or consent.
He also accused Abena’s parents of receiving money from the children’s biological fathers while their daughter remained married to him.
During the conversation, Chief claimed responsibility for his father-in-law’s death, although no independent evidence was presented during the programme to substantiate the claim.
He also said he had invoked spiritual curses against members of the family and would not withdraw them until he received compensation for the money he had spent raising the children.
He further threatened people who participated in his father-in-law’s burial, warning that they could suffer similar consequences.
He also issued threats against Abena and her relatives, warning of further deaths if the dispute remained unresolved.
As part of his demands, Chief called for DNA tests to be conducted on all three children to establish their biological paternity.
He maintained that the results should be obtained before any reconciliation could be considered.
He also indicated that he intended to calculate the expenses he had incurred in raising the children and seek compensation before agreeing to settle the dispute.
