Interdicted Obuasi SHTS headmaster sues Manasseh Azure Awuni

Investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni says the interdicted headmaster of Obuasi Senior High Technical School (SHTS) has sued him for defamation.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Mr Azure disclosed that the suit is the 12th defamation case brought against him in 11 years.

“The interdicted Obuasi SHTS headmaster has sued me for defamation. This is the 12th defamation suit in 11 years. Manasseh abrɛ,” he wrote.

The lawsuit comes amid public attention surrounding allegations of sexual misconduct involving the headmaster, Zakaria Abdulai.

Mr Azure’s post did not provide further details about the specific claims in the suit or the reliefs being sought by the plaintiff.
