I Married A White Man, Not A Bank — Angry Woman Curses Greedy Family Member

Drama has erupted on social media after a Ghanaian woman married to a white man angrily cursed her own family members.

According to the woman, since she married her white husband, her family believes she has become a cash machine and must take care of everybody.

In a video that has now gone viral, the woman is heard raining curses on her family members, saying they are pressuring her too much.

She explained that her family feels entitled to her money simply because her husband is white. They think white means rich, and that she must send money every time, pay school fees, solve every problem, and carry the whole family on her head.

But the woman says life abroad is not easy and her white husband does not just pick money from trees. She says she also works hard and has her own bills to pay.

“I married a white man, not a bank. I am not your ATM,” she lamented in the video.

She added that anytime she says no, her family calls her wicked and says she has forgotten where she came from because of a white man.

Many social media users have reacted to the video. Some say the woman is right to set boundaries, while others say family is family and she should try to help if she can.

Others also say this is the reality for many Ghanaian women married to white men or living abroad. Their families back home think they are swimming in money, forgetting the struggles they face outside.
