I Have My Story – Obuasi SHTS Headmaster Breaks Silence, Says Girl Accusing Him Will Sh0ck You

The headmaster of Obuasi Senior High Technical School, Mr. Zakaria Abdulai, has spoken for the first time after being accused of rape.

In an interview with Black Rasta, Mr. Abdulai said if people see the girl who is accusing him, they will be shocked.

“If I show you this particular girl who is claiming I have raped her, you’ll be shocked; But I cannot judge her whether she’s bad or good. I cannot. But I have my story,” he said.

Mr. Abdulai said the police invited him after the girl and her parents reported the case. He was cautioned and given self-recognisance bail because he is a headmaster. He is now waiting for his court date.

“I have been cautioned because one girl and their parents said I have raped her. So they reported, I was cautioned, and as a headmaster, I was given self-recognisance bail. I’m waiting for court days,” he explained.

According to him, he has already told his own side of the story to the committee investigating the matter. He said the committee has listened to both his version and the version of the girl and her family.

The headmaster said he does not know the girl personally. He said she is about 20 to 21 years old and has a child, but he does not want to judge her character.

His comments come after a major investigative report by journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni, which exposed alleged sexual abuse at Obuasi SHTS.

The report says 19 girls have come forward with allegations of sexual abuse against the headmaster.

The case is still under investigation, and the court is expected to decide what really happened.
