“He Is Always Living Above His Means”- Speed Darlington Opens Up On Experience With Ex-Manager Goski

Nigerian rapper and entertainer Speed Darlington has recounted his experience with his former manager, Goski, accusing him of always wanting to spend more money than necessary.

The controversial musician shared how he and Goski disagreed over the type of vehicle they should hire whenever he was invited to perform at events in Asaba, Delta State.

According to Speed Darlington, he preferred using an older vehicle that charged ₦90,000 for the trip from Owerri to Asaba and back, while his former manager insisted that they should hire a more luxurious car costing about ₦250,000 or more.

Explaining his experience, the rapper said the driver of the cheaper vehicle would transport them to Asaba at night, spend the night at a hotel and drive them back to Owerri.

Despite the significant difference in cost, Goski reportedly felt that the vehicle was not suitable for Speed Darlington’s status as a celebrity and encouraged him to opt for a more expensive option.

Recounting their disagreement, Speed Darlington said: “Goski is always living above his means. I will order a cheap and old car to transport us to Asaba for ₦90,000, but Goski keeps advising me to go for a better and finer car that will charge me ₦250,000. I keep wondering whether I’m the celebrity or him.”

The rapper’s account highlighted the difference in their spending preferences, with Speed Darlington questioning why his former manager appeared more concerned about the appearance of their transportation than the amount they could save.

His remarks have drawn attention to his experience working with Goski, particularly their differing views on spending money and maintaining a celebrity image.
