Amitabh Bachchan posted on X that he had been advised to take a few days off to rest and recuperate, so he would not be writing anything for now.

Even while signing off, Bachchan kept to his habit of speaking directly to fans. His blog post carried first Dussehra greetings to everyone, followed by an apology to those who had sent him personal wishes. He asked them to treat the post itself as his reply, with more to follow later.

The reason, in his words, was medical. He described himself as being under “very strict rest and recuperation” and not allowed to communicate.

Fans responded the way they usually do. Comments urged him to take care and rest, and several told him there was no need to apologise.
