YEA Secures $3.6 Million Funding to Train and Employ 11,200 Young Ghanaians in Key Economic Sectors

The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) is set to receive a major financial boost, with an allocation of 3.6 million US dollars—equivalent to about 44 million Ghana cedis—earmarked for youth training and employment initiatives. The announcement was made by Mr. Malik Basintale, who highlighted the government’s commitment to tackling youth unemployment through targeted investment in skills development and job creation.

According to the announcement, the funds will facilitate the training and employment of 11,200 beneficiaries across selected areas of economic activity.
