UCL Table After Real Madrid Won 4:1, Bayern Drew 2:2 And Manchester United Lost 4:1

According to a report by BBC Sports on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, the UEFA Champions League league-phase standings have witnessed significant changes following another exciting round of matches, with Real Madrid recording a convincing 4-1 victory over RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich sharing the spoils with Arsenal in a 2-2 draw, and Manchester United suffering a disappointing 4-1 defeat against Como.

The latest results have influenced the positions of several European clubs as they continue their campaigns in the competition. Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool remain among the leading teams after winning their opening three matches, collecting nine points each. Stuttgart occupy another strong position with seven points from three games.

Real Madrid were among Wednesday’s biggest winners after overcoming RB Leipzig 4-1. The Spanish giants demonstrated their attacking strength and secured three valuable points, taking their tally to nine points after three matches. Their victory also improved their goal difference, strengthening their position in the race for a place in the Champions League knockout stages.

Arsenal also maintained their unbeaten record after earning a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich in Germany. The Gunners took the lead through Eberechi Eze before Bayern responded with goals from Alphonso Davies and Harry Kane. Declan Rice subsequently scored an equaliser in the closing stages to ensure that Arsenal returned home with a point.

The result took Arsenal to seven points from three matches, keeping them among the teams competing for automatic qualification to the round of 16. Bayern Munich, meanwhile, moved to five points after recording one victory and two draws in their opening three fixtures.

Manchester United endured a difficult evening in Italy after losing 4-1 to Como. Argentine midfielder Nico Paz delivered an outstanding performance, scoring twice and providing an assist as Como dominated the encounter. Joshua Zirkzee scored a late consolation goal for United, but it was insufficient to prevent Michael Carrick’s side from suffering another damaging European defeat.

The result left Manchester United with three points from their first three matches, having recorded one victory and two defeats. Their position in the league-phase standings will increase the pressure on the team to improve their performances in subsequent fixtures.

Other notable results included Aston Villa’s 3-1 victory over Viking, Galatasaray’s 4-2 win against Lille, Club Brugge’s 3-0 triumph over Lens and Inter Milan’s narrow 1-0 victory against Shakhtar Donetsk. Real Betis also secured a 1-0 win over Feyenoord, while LASK defeated Sporting CP 3-2 away from home.

With three matchdays completed for most clubs, the battle for the top eight positions remains intense. Teams finishing in the top eight at the end of the league phase will qualify directly for the round of 16, while those finishing between ninth and 24th will enter the knockout-phase play-offs.
