Shatta Wale Shows Big Heart – Gives GH¢20,000 To Children Of Officer Who Died Going To ShattaFest

Dancehall king Shatta Wale has shown that beyond the music, he has a big heart.

The musician has extended financial support to the family of the late Police Officer Prince Adu, who died on his way to perform security duties at ShattaFest 2026 in Accra.

Shatta Wale sent a team led by Ralph De FellowGhanaian to present GH¢20,000 cash to support the officer’s children after losing their father.

According to the team, the money is to help the family take care of the children’s needs following the tragedy. Officer Prince Adu lost his life while on duty, trying to ensure ShattaFest 2026 was safe for everyone at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Shatta Wale has also pledged to provide further assistance to the family, suggesting that the initial GH¢20,000 may not be the end of his support.

The gesture comes at a time when the family is still grieving and trying to cope with the loss of their father and breadwinner.

Fans have praised Shatta Wale for the move, saying it shows he respects the security services and cares about the people who work to make his shows a success.

ShattaFest 2026, which happened on October 17 at the Accra Sports Stadium, was one of the biggest concerts of the year, but the death of Officer Prince Adu cast a sad shadow over the celebration.

With this donation, Shatta Wale has turned the pain into a message of love and responsibility.
