Sarkodie Backs Joint Concert with Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has expressed his willingness to headline a joint concert with Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, describing the prospect of bringing the three artistes together as a long-held dream.

Speaking on Onua Showtime with host Nana Ama McBrown, Sarkodie said he would readily participate if plans for such an event were agreed upon.

“I’m very ready. If you say tomorrow, I will even be present,” he said.

The rapper acknowledged that turning the idea into reality would require agreement among all three camps and careful coordination of their schedules.

His comments prompted discussion about the audience a concert featuring Ghana’s so-called “Big 3” could attract and the preparations needed to accommodate their fan bases.

Media personality Mimi Andani predicted an exceptionally large turnout, suggesting that the event could generate nationwide excitement and significant disruption because of its scale.

Entertainment critic Kwesi Ernest also stressed the need for extensive planning. He proposed premium ticket pricing and a security deployment of at least 200 personnel for each artiste’s team to help manage the anticipated crowd.

Those suggestions formed part of the discussion about how a potential concert could be organised; they were not announced as confirmed arrangements.

Sarkodie’s enthusiasm adds to conversations about greater collaboration among Ghana’s leading musicians and the potential for joint efforts to expand the industry’s international reach.

While his remarks signal a willingness to participate, a date, venue and agreement involving all three artistes have yet to be announced.
