Reactions As Sowore Tells Tinubu To Give Him Access To Aso Rock And Food For 5,000 AAC Members

There have been several reactions from social media users after Nigerian activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore wrote a letter to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

This was contained in a post that Omoyele Sowore shared on his official X handle on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.

This is coming ahead of the inauguration of the AAC Presidential Campaign Council.

In the letter that surfaced online, the AAC presidential candidate asked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to grant him access to the Presidential Villa for AAC inauguration. He also told the President to provide feeding and logistics for 5,000 supporters.

He said the request was based on the principles of multiparty democracy and equal treatment.

Here is what Omoyele Sowore wrote on his official X handle;

“The party also demanded food, drinks and logistical support for 5,000 participants from Nigeria and abroad.

“The AAC said its request was based on the principles of multiparty democracy, political inclusiveness and equal treatment”.
