Former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Faith Odhiambo has found herself at the centre of an online debate, not over her political ambitions but over what she wears to Linda Mwananchi events.

Odhiambo, who is preparing for a run in the 2027 general election, has been appearing alongside ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna and other members of the Linda Mwananchi movement as she builds her political profile.

As her public appearances have grown, so has the scrutiny of her outfits, with some Kenyans questioning whether they suit the functions she attends.

Many users weighed in on the comments section, with several saying that while she is widely seen as sharp and intelligent, her dress sense has not kept pace with her rising profile.

The general view was that a person seeking elective office needs a stylist who understands the visual expectations of public life.
