First, we should note that there is a regional difference in the battery capacity. The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max launched with an 8,000mAh battery in China, but European models will ship with 7,150mAh batteries. The same goes for the vanilla X10 – 7,150mAh battery in Europe, down from 8,000mAh in China.

We haven’t gotten a confirmation yet, but we think that India will get the versions with the bigger batteries. Note that the launch in India is scheduled for tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Oppo UK, Oppo Germany, Oppo France and other European branches are already selling the new flagships. This brings us to the second thing that we need to talk about – the prices.

The vanilla Oppo Find X10 starts at €1,300/£1,100 for the base model with 256GB storage and goes up to €1,500/£1,250 for the 512GB variant. The Find X10 Pro Max will cost you €1,800/£1,500 for the only model with 512GB storage.

You can still find the Find X9 for €1,000 (and this is for a 512GB unit, mind you) and the Find X9 Pro for €1,300. There was no Pro Max in the X9 generation, but there was a Find X9 Ultra – that costs €1,700 in France, making it €100 less than the new X10 Pro Max.

The Ultra uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the other two X9 models feature the Dimensity 9500. And here is one of the key selling points for the X10 series – they upgrade to the Dimensity 9600 Pro.

This 2nm chipset features Arm C2 CPU cores, which promise an impressive 61% better power efficiency in multi-core tests compared to the previous chip. The Mali-G2 Ultra NX GPU is 27% faster (with 18% faster ray tracing) and it is 24% more power efficient. The NPU brings 51% faster prefill (prompt processing) and 55% faster token generation per watt.

There are other improvements too – not the least of which is the triple 200MP camera setup on the back of the Pro Max. You can find camera samples from a trip to Lisbon, Portugal, from all three rear lenses on the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max. The phone is compatible with the new Hasselblad teleconverter kit, which we unboxed and handled earlier this month.

If you want more, we have camera samples from both the Find X10 and the Find X10 Pro Max, including photos from the 50MP selfie cameras. This is an upgrade for the vanilla model – the X9 had a 32MP selfie sensor. Even better, the vanilla X10 brings 200MP sensors to replace the 50MP modules in the main and telephoto cameras (leaving only the ultra-wide with a 50MP sensor).

We just published our Oppo Find X10 Pro Max review, so you can read up on the performance of the new chipset and how the triple 200MP camera performs. We also have the vanilla Find X10 at the office and we will be sharing more details about it soon.
