Ohemaa Dynamite Arrested Over Bishop Obinim’s Missing Millions — Prophet Ogyaba Denies Saving Her

Popular Ghanaian socialite Ohemaa Dynamite has been granted GH¢1 million bail after appearing before the Adenta Circuit Court over an alleged theft involving Bishop Daniel Obinim.

The court granted her bail on Monday, October 19, 2026, with two sureties who must be justified. The case has been adjourned to October 28, 2026.

Ohemaa Dynamite, 22 years old, whose real name is Ohemaa Serwaa Abigail Owusu Ansah, is facing allegations that she stole GH¢1.5 million from the safe of Bishop Daniel Obinim, founder of International God’s Way Church.

According to reports, the alleged theft was discovered around October 15, 2026. The details of how the money went missing are still before the court.

After news of her arrest broke, some reports claimed that Prophet Ogyaba, who is known to be her godfather, had made calls from Elubo to the Cantonments Police Station to arrange her bail.

But Prophet Ogyaba has denied all the claims. In a video shared on Sunday, October 18, 2026, he said he was not even in Ghana — he was in London at the time — and had no hand in securing her bail.

Ogyaba said people should stop dragging his name into the case and allow the court to do its work.

For now, Ohemaa Dynamite is out on GH¢1 million bail and will return to court on October 28 as the case continues.
