JPMorgan Deposits ₦50bn with CBN, Closes in on Nigerian Merchant Banking Licence

JPMorgan Chase, the largest bank in the United States by assets, has reportedly deposited ₦50 billion with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), bringing it closer to securing a merchant banking licence that would allow it to expand its operations in Africa’s largest economy.
