“I’d Rather Go To Ja!L Than Lose My Phone”- Dangote Reveals Why His Phone Is Untouchable
Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man, has revealed how important his mobile phone is to him, joking that he would rather be taken to jail than have his phone confiscated.
Dangote made the remark while highlighting his strong attachment to the device, which he says contains thousands of contacts.
“I think it’s easier to take me to jail than to take my phone away. Taking my phone is no-go area. I have more than 13 thousand contacts on my phone,” he said.
His comment suggests that his phone is more than just a communication device, given the number of contacts he has stored on it. With business dealings and professional relationships spanning different sectors, the billionaire’s contact list could be an important part of his daily activities.
The statement has also drawn attention to the value people attach to their phones, especially when the devices hold important personal and professional connections.
