I Dumped Her, Angel Obinim Says He Has Never Missed Florence For One Day

Ghanaian pastor Bishop Daniel Obinim, popularly known as Angel Obinim, has broken his silence on his marriage breakup.

He says he is the one who divorced his wife, gospel musician Florence Obinim, and not the other way round. He is asking Ghanaians to ignore reports that Florence divorced him.

The man of God said this in front of his church members. According to him, he has not missed Florence for once since he left her. 

For weeks, news has been everywhere that Florence has filed for divorce after 24 years of marriage and is demanding property and money as compensation. Some reports say she wants a mansion, church property and GHS 2 million. 

Angel Obinim denied that he is worried about the divorce. He said he is fine and has moved on.

The breakup became public in September 2026 after traditional divorce rites were performed. Florence and some family members reportedly went to Sepaase to return the traditional drinks (Tiri Nsa) to start the divorce process. The family of Angel Obinim accepted it. 

In a recent church video, the pastor was also seen reading what he said was court papers from Florence where she is demanding properties and financial support. 

Angel Obinim has now told Florence to stop using his surname Obinim. Following the split, the gospel musician has rebranded to Queen Florence. 

He insists: He left, he did not get left.
