Tinubu: What will he tell, that he has made Nigerians 77% poorer than when he met them?—Ehilebo
APM chieftain Anthony Ehilebo, Special Adviser, Digital & Media to the Makinde-Daura 2027 Campaign, has accused President Bola Tinubu of showing contempt for Nigerians, saying the president is “more afraid of them right now.”
In an interview at Symfoni Tv, Ehilebo said Tinubu’s conduct did not surprise him. “He has always shown disdain for the people. He has never shown that he loves Nigerians,” he said.
He cited two examples of how Tinubu handled national tragedies. During the Plateau State crisis, Ehilebo said, victims were brought to the president at the airport, but Tinubu told them he had only ten minutes to spare and that there was no light for him to take off. In Benue State, he said, Tinubu travelled to Makurdi but declined to visit victims in Yelwata, just 45 minutes away, because of the bad road.
Ehilebo questioned how Tinubu could hit the campaign trail. “How do you expect this man to go and campaign? To whom? Is it you or me buying petrol at ₦1,500?” he asked. He then posed a final challenge to the president: “What will he tell me, that he has made Nigerians 77% poorer than when he met them?”
