Sindh IGP seeks report on death of young woman in Jamshoro

KARACHI  –  Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Javed Alam Odho has sought a detailed report from the DIG Hyderabad regarding the death of 21-year-old Mehak Malik in a traffic accident in Jamshoro. According to a Sindh Police spokesperson on Monday, the IGP directed the relevant officers to ensure a transparent, comprehensive and impartial investigation, examining all aspects of the incident without overlooking any detail.

He ordered the police to record statements of the deceased’s family members and proceed with the investigation in light of the available evidence.

The IGP also directed the relevant officers to provide the affected family with necessary protection and legal assistance.
