Sarkodie dreams of historic concert with Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy

Ghanaian rap superstar Sarkodie has expressed his desire to organise a joint concert with dancehall heavyweights Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, describing the proposed event as one of his personal dreams.

The rapper made the revelation during an appearance on Onua TV’s Onua Showtime on October 18, 2026, where the possibility of bringing the three music icons together on one stage was discussed.

Sarkodie indicated that he was ready to participate in the concert at short notice, suggesting that the idea could become a reality if all three artistes agreed to work together.

“I am sure all of us share the dream of hosting such a concert. Personally, I am ready to do it, even if it means holding it tomorrow. That is also one of my dreams: for all three of us to host a joint concert,” he said, according to Pulse Ghana.

The programme’s host, Nana Ama McBrown, suggested that the proposed event could be called the “S Concert”, a name that reflects the involvement of the three celebrated musicians.

A concert featuring Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy would bring together three influential forces in Ghanaian music. Sarkodie is renowned for his rap catalogue, while Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have built strong followings through their dancehall and Afro-dancehall music.

The idea has also raised questions about the scale of organisation and security that would be required to manage the anticipated audience. Singer and media personality Mimi Andani expressed concern that the event could attract an exceptionally large crowd, while entertainment critic Kwesi Ernest suggested that organisers would need extensive security arrangements and careful planning.

Despite the excitement surrounding the proposal, no official date, venue or confirmed arrangements have been announced.

The concert therefore remains a dream rather than a confirmed event. However, Sarkodie’s willingness to participate has renewed public interest in the possibility of seeing the three stars share a stage for what could become a significant moment in Ghana’s live music scene.
