Ntando Rambani Responds to Comments About Her Weight

Actress and media personality Ntando Rambani has sent a humorous message to people commenting on her weight, reminding them that her body is not their concern.

Rambani took to social media, where she shared a glimpse of her latest hairstyle before addressing the comments she has been receiving about her weight gain. Rather than responding in a serious manner, the actress chose to deliver her message with a bit of humour.

She first showed off her braids, which she had done at her salon, Sbahle Siyakhula. However, the hairstyle reveal was followed by a message directed at those who have been making comments about her appearance.

In the video, Rambani jokingly spoke about eating Chappies bubblegum and reading one of the interesting facts traditionally found inside its wrappers. She then used the familiar format to make a point about the attention people have been giving her weight.

“Today I had chappies (bubblegum). You know ichappies that had a did you know fact inside? I read that, did you know that Ntando Rambani’s weight gain has nothing to do with you. I don’t know if you know that fact but I thought that I should share it with you today.”

Through her playful response, Rambani made it clear that her weight gain is a personal matter and not something other people need to concern themselves with.

Her message also highlighted how conversations about celebrities’ physical appearances can become a topic of public discussion, even when those comments are unwelcome. While public figures often share parts of their lives on social media, that does not mean every aspect of their appearance needs to be scrutinised.

Rambani also added a cheeky caption to her post, writing, “…thought I should leave this here for you..”

The actress’s approach allowed her to address the issue without losing her sense of humour. Instead of engaging in lengthy explanations, she delivered a simple message to those commenting on her body.

With her Chappies-inspired joke, Rambani reminded social media users that personal appearance is not an invitation for unsolicited opinions. Her message was clear: what happens to her weight has nothing to do with anyone else.
