MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. (WBBJ) – On Monday afternoon, our WBBJ newsroom received tips of a large law enforcement presence at a residence in Oakfield, TN.

A man was seen exiting the residence and surrendered himself to authorities around 9:55 Monday evening.

Neighbors say Sheriff’s deputies first arrived around 5p.m. to a residence between Madelyn Cove and Oakdale Drive.

At one point, our crew saw as many as nine vehicles surrounding the home.

Officers could also be seen using flash lights to search around the yard.

A man was eventually put in handcuffs and placed inside a sheriff’s deputy vehicle.
