If You Take Me To The Worst Hotel, I Can Sleep, Shower, And Leave; Life Is About Simplicity- Dangote

Nigerian billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote has advised people to embrace simplicity and avoid seeing themselves as more important than others, regardless of their position or wealth.

In a video shared by Splash FM, Dangote made this known during an event where he explained that life could change at any time and anyone could find themselves in a different situation.

According to him, people should learn to live simply and be comfortable in different conditions rather than believing they are too important to live without certain luxuries.

He explained that he could sleep and take his shower in even the worst hotel if he found himself there, stressing that people should not allow their status to make them feel superior to others.

Dangote also shared an experience involving his friend, the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, whom he described as someone who practises simplicity despite holding a high political position.

He revealed that the Ethiopian Prime Minister told him he had served in the position for eight years without ever using a driver.

Dangote further explained that during a visit to a fertiliser plant for lunch, the Prime Minister’s wife personally drove him to the location.

In his words, “If you take me to the worst hotel, I can sleep, I can have my shower and leave because life is about simplicity.”
