I Never Saw My Husband M@nhood for 13 Years I Spent GH¢30k on Our Wedding He Never Refunded Me–Abena

According to a Post by Oyerepa Afutuo on Facebook Official account on Friday, October 16, 2026, Abena Asantewaa has appeared on Oyerepa Afutuo to demand GH¢30,000 from her former husband, Elder Amuzu of the Church of Pentecost, claiming that he owes her the money she spent on their marriage.

According to Abena, Elder Amuzu told her before their wedding that he was constructing a house and had financial difficulties. He allegedly asked her to pay for their marriage requirements, promising to refund the money afterward. She said she spent GH¢30,000 to cover the expenses.

However, she described their 13-year marriage, which produced three children, as unhappy and lacking affection, communication, financial support, and romance.

Abena alleged that her former husband often ignored her when she wanted intimacy but approached her only when he desired it. She further claimed that some encounters left her injured because he allegedly refused to remove his clothes and belt.

In another startling allegation, Abena said she never saw her husband’s private part throughout their marriage because he always covered himself and avoided bathing in her presence. She recalled entering the bathroom once, only for him to shout and leave.

She also claimed that she bought their double mattress because he previously owned only a student mattress.

Abena further alleged that Elder Amuzu switched off the lights during intimacy and avoided dressing in front of her. Eventually, she decided to leave the marriage because she was unhappy.

She also accused him of marrying her best friend, Eva, to hurt her.

When contacted by Oyerepa, Elder Amuzu reportedly denied the allegations and said he had no money to refund, accusing Abena of attempting to disgrace him.

Auntie Naa has asked him to appear on the programme next week to help resolve the dispute amicably.
