I Had A Car Accident And Was In Coma For 2 Weeks, If Not For Uduaghan,I May Not Have Been Alive–Ofou

Felix Ofou, former Chief Press Secretary to the late former Delta State Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, has recalled how the former governor helped save his life after a serious car accident.

In a video shared by News Central TV, Ofou described Uduaghan’s death as a personal loss, not only to him but also to his community.

Speaking about the accident, Ofou explained that he was in a coma for about two weeks following the crash. He said he might not have survived if Uduaghan had not stepped in to ensure he received proper medical treatment.

According to him, the former governor took immediate steps to provide him with the best possible medical care, including arranging for him to be flown abroad for treatment.

Ofou explained that although he was receiving treatment at a hospital where people believed he was recovering, Uduaghan understood that the facility could not handle the seriousness of his condition.

He said the former governor recognised the need for better medical care and ensured that he received the treatment required to survive.

In his words, “I was involved in a ghastly motor accident. I was in a coma, and if not for the decisive steps taken by the former governor, I may not have been alive today. I was in a coma for about two weeks, and he ensured that I got the best care, including flying me abroad and ensuring that I had the best medical care.”
