WVSP investigating fatal Tucker County crash

PARSONS, W.Va. (WBOY) — The West Virginia State Police (WVSP) are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Tucker County over the weekend.

A press release from the WVSP said that the crash occurred on Sunday at around 3:45 p.m. on U.S. Route 219 in Tucker County. Early investigation found that 83-year-old Ralph Mullenax, of Fairmont, “lost control of his vehicle, traveled off the eastern edge of the roadway, and crashed.”

Mullenax died of his injuries at the scene. His next of kin has been notified.

WVSP are continuing to investigate the crash. No further information has been released at this time.
