GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – A two-car crash at the intersection of Charles Boulevard and Oakmont Street brought lunchtime traffic to a crawl just before 1 p.m. on Monday afternoon.
One car was upside down in the turning lanes, and a black SUV was against a telephone pole as crews worked to clear the scene.
No injuries were reported, according to the Greenville Police Department.
Police said that a car was turning out of the Han-Dee Hugo parking lot onto Charles Boulevard. As they turned, an SUV changing lanes hit them, and the car flipped over.
The SUV driver was cited for failure to yield and unsafe movement, law enforcement said.
