“Transport Minister Bought Shatta Wale’s Birthday Car, Fantana Was Used as a Cover-Up” – Darlington

According to a Post by GHSplash on Facebook Official account on Sunday, Oct 18, 2026, Social commentator Darlington Adams has raised questions about the reported gift of a brand-new 2026 Toyota Land Cruiser Twin Turbo presented to Ghanaian dancehall musician Shatta Wale by Fantana ahead of his birthday.

Fantana reportedly surprised the musician with the expensive vehicle, an act that attracted attention on social media. However, Adams has made claims suggesting that the story behind the luxury car might be different from what the public has been told.

According to the commentator, Fantana may not have used her own money to purchase the vehicle. He alleged that the Minister of Transport was responsible for buying the car and that Fantana was allegedly asked to present it to Shatta Wale to hide the identity of the person who financed the gift.

Adams also questioned whether Fantana could independently afford such an expensive vehicle. In making his argument, he reportedly referred to her use of a second-hand Range Rover.

His comments have sparked questions about the actual source of the money used to acquire the Land Cruiser and whether the public has been given the full story behind the birthday surprise.

Nevertheless, it is important to note that these claims remain allegations. No independently verified evidence has been presented to establish that the Transport Minister purchased the vehicle or that Fantana acted on anyone’s instructions.

Until further information emerges from the people involved, the circumstances surrounding the purchase of the luxury car remain unclear. The allegations should therefore be treated cautiously rather than accepted as established facts.
