Rigworld Opens Major Oil and Gas Survival Training Centre in Côte dIvoire, Eye November 2026 Launch

Rigworld Group has completed a state-of-the-art Oil and Gas Survival Training Centre in Côte d’Ivoire, with an official inauguration planned for November 2026. The announcement was made by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr Kofi Amoa-Abban.

The new facility is expected to widen access to industry-standard safety training across the continent, equipping oil and gas professionals with the skills they need to work safely in some of the most demanding environments in the sector. The project was delivered in collaboration with Rigworld’s local partner, ARSTM.

The completion marks another step in Rigworld’s expansion since it was established in 2011. The group has grown into a major force in Africa’s oil and gas services industry, with operations spanning Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Angola, South Africa, Namibia and Mozambique.

Through its specialised subsidiaries, Rigworld provides technical, logistics, workforce and safety training services to the energy and industrial sectors. With the new Côte d’Ivoire centre, the company is positioning itself to meet the growing demand for certified safety training as oil and gas activity increases across West Africa and beyond.
