PTI’s political committee reviews country’s political, constitutional situation

ISLAMABAD: A joint two-day meeting of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Political Committee and Core Committee reviewed the country’s political and constitutional situation, the imposition of emergency and governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.The meeting unanimously rejected the measures taken on 11 October, particularly the imposition of emergency and governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the establishment of a council, and moves to disable or dissolve the provincial government elected by the people, calling them unconstitutional, undemocratic and a serious attack on the public mandate.
