Paris Saint-Germain head coach Luis Enrique says facing his former club Barcelona is a huge source of motivation ahead of Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League clash in Paris.
Enrique played for Barcelona and led them to Champions League glory in 2015 before winning the competition twice with PSG.
The reigning champions face a Barcelona side unbeaten in 11 matches, with Enrique hoping to end that run and secure a statement victory against his former club.
“I’m focusing on their quality. I’ve played for and managed Barça, and I have a very close relationship with Catalonia. I’m very attached to Barça, but I’m PSG’s manager.”
“It’s a huge source of motivation for me to face the club that has mattered the most to me in my career” Enrique said.
