Premier League ‘leak when Man City decision will be made’ as realistic punishment explained
A bombshell report has revealed when we are likely to hear Man City's punishment for the 115 charges, and it's sooner than we expected.
Details of when Manchester City will learn their punishment for their recent guilty verdict, and what the punishment could be, have been revealed. After more than three years of waiting, Manchester City were informed last month that they had been found guilty of the majority of the 115 charges brought against the club by the Premier League.
While we now await the decision of City's appeal of the verdict, many have been left wondering what, and when, we could learn the punishment Enzo Maresca's side will face if the guilty verdict is upheld, and now we may know.

As it stands, many Premier League fans feel that the situation surrounding Man City's guilty verdict has somewhat stalled while the appeal process is allowed to progress.
City officially lodged the appeal on October 1 and with Premier League rules stating that the process must be concluded within 12 weeks of the appeal being lodged, the independent panel must deliver its verdict by December 25.
Following that, the verdict must be made public within 30 days.
However, with the legal process shutting down for two-weeks for Christmas and New Year, it could mean that the panel will have have until as late as February 8 to announce its verdict.
But this doesn't mean we won't learn City's punishment before this date, as the Daily Mail have claimed the Premier League are currently pushing for City’s punishment to be announced before the result of their appeal.
As for what this punishment could be, it appears we City may be set to avoid some of the more harsh options that have been rumoured over the past weeks.

In perhaps the most severe of scenarios put forward as a potential punishment for City, some have suggested that all trophies won during the nine seasons in which the charges relate to could be stripped, with City relegated as far as League Two or even the National League.
But, the Daily Mail report claims that sources believed that this 'doomsday scenario' will be avoided, with the most likely punishment being a massive points deduction to ensure that City are relegated at the end of the current season.
Alongside this, as expected, this potential punishment would see City handed a huge fine.
Additionally, it is believed that a further points deduction that would ensure City cannot be promoted again next season is being considered.
However, if it is decided that this is to be added to the punishment, the EFL does not have to accept this sanction, although it is believed that it likely would
After that, City would be allowed to rebuild, with the decision intended to 'give a pathway towards rehabilitation' alongside a punishment.
