Natasha Akpoti: January 16, 2027, You Will Know Whether I’m Still The White Lion Or Not–Yahaya Bello

Speaking in a recent interview on TVC Channel’s YouTube platform, former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has commented on his political contest with Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan ahead of the state’s senatorial election.

Bello was asked whether he believed he could defeat Akpoti-Uduaghan at the polls.

The former governor, nicknamed the “White Lion,” said he was confident about his own prospects and those of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming election.

Asked directly if he could beat the senator, Bello said voters would settle the question when election day arrived.

He stated, “16 of January 2027, is around the corner, the result will speak for itself.”

The interviewer also asked whether Bello was still as popular as he had been while in office, especially considering his “White Lion” nickname.

Responding to the question, the former governor said, “Let the day come and go.”

Asked what Nigerians should expect on election day, Bello predicted that he and his party would perform strongly.

He declared, “Massive vote, decisive victory for Yahaya Bello, the former governor of Kogi state and for APC.”

His remarks come amid political debate over the contest between Bello and Akpoti-Uduaghan.
