Miranda Hart declared ‘I am a pop star’ as she pleaded with Celebrity Traitors co-star Leigh-Anne Pinnock to join her in the studio after their iconic castle routine.

Fans were left in hysterics watching Leigh-Anne teach Miranda the dance to Little Mix’s hit song Touch during last week’s episode.

The internet deemed the scene the ‘TV moment of the year’ as Leigh-Anne and Miranda marked the official beginning of ‘Big Mix’.

Now, both stars have received a vinyl of the Little Mix record Glory Days complete with a snap of them both.

Miranda shared her reaction in a hilarious video on Instagram after receiving the vinyl through the post on Monday.

Caught in the middle of her practicing the dance move, Miranda joked: ‘And thrust, thrust, pose…

‘Oh hi, you just caught me doing my personal pop performance preparation which I now do every morning because of course, it has been proved to me finally that I am inherently a pop star.

‘I knew it all along, it just makes so much sense as does therefore this [lifting up a vinyl titled Big Mix: Glory Days].’

She quipped: ‘Our [her and Leigh-Anne] debut album with the peacock on. So if this was the debut then that obviously means there’s more to come.

‘I pressure Leanne and I will get into the studio and come up with some OG tracks and the first one is probably going to be called Peacock.’

The record itself had a picture of a peacock on it, paying tribute to one of Miranda’s iconic moments in the series so far as she exclaimed: ‘PEACOCK!’ on arrival at the castle.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, Leigh-Anne filmed herself unboxing the memorabilia: ‘The BBC have just sent me something, it looks like a plaque or a vinyl or something.’

She then exclaimed: ‘Oh my gosh. This is iconic. Now that is insane, what an iconic moment what an iconic women. Are you around for the reunion Miranda because I am just saying…’

Leigh-Anne’s fellow band members Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall both responded with laughing emojis.

While fellow Faithful Sebastian Croft penned: ‘This is so good are they for sale I want one.’

The pair’s dance lesson also unknowingly saved them from being ‘murdered in plain sight’ on Friday, as while they were distracted, in the other room Traitors Maya Jama, King Kenny and James Acaster were plotting their next kill.

After Joe Lycett’s banishment, the Faithfuls and Traitors were unwinding in one of the castle rooms, when Leigh-Anne offered to teach Miranda one of Little Mix’s moves.

‘I want to make your dreams come true,’ the singer told the actress, before teaching her some of the moves to the group’s hit Touch.

As the pair got to grips with the choreography, Hart had one important question: ‘Where am I thrusting from?’

She later announced: ‘Introducing Little Mix and Big Mix!’

Fans took to X to praise the moment, especially as it was cut between the Traitors plotting how they were going to kill a faithful in plain sight by ‘boring them to death’.

They said: ‘The Traitors trying to bore people to death with random cuts to Miranda and Leigh-Anne performing Touch has me in actual tears. That was the moment of the series.’

‘Leigh-Anne and Miranda unknowingly avoiding murder because they were doing Little Mix choreography is the TV moment of the year.’

‘Miranda and Leigh-Anne being safe from murder because they’re doing a Little Mix dance is actually iconic.’

‘The juxtaposition of the Traitors stressed trying to get someone to yawn and Miranda and Leigh-Anne performing the choreography to Touch was an incredible piece of television.’

‘I fear they will somehow blame Leigh-Anne for the killing in plain sight because of this.’

‘Leigh-Anne teaching Miranda how to do the dance routine to Touch by Little Mix feels like that Miranda revival episode we never got.’

‘Leigh-Anne and Miranda Hart doing the choreography to Touch by Little Mix, whilst The Traitors are trying to complete a murder in plain sight in another room are the moments reality TV is MADE for.’

‘Leigh-Anne teaching Miranda Little Mix choreo; Leigh-Anne teaching Miranda her choreography is so precious.’
