Kasoa road users sensitised on Traffitech-GH rollout

The National Road Safety Authority (NRSA), in collaboration with the Central East Police Command and other road safety stakeholders, has sensitised road users in Kasoa on the rollout of Traffitech-GH.

The exercise, held on Thursday, October 15, 2026, was organised by the NRSA’s Greater Accra Regional Office as part of efforts to raise public awareness and promote compliance with traffic regulations.

The sensitisation programme involved key institutions, including the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), the Department of Urban Roads (DUR) and the Ghana Highway Authority (GHA).

Participants included drivers, commercial transport operators, motorcyclists, traders, shop owners, pedestrians, opinion leaders and members of the media.

The engagement was aimed at deepening public understanding of Traffitech-GH and encouraging road users to support the implementation of innovative traffic enforcement measures to improve road safety.

The NRSA said public education and stakeholder collaboration were essential to ensuring the effective implementation of the initiative and promoting responsible road use.

The Authority has urged all road users to support Traffitech-GH and comply with traffic regulations to help reduce road crashes and make Ghana’s roads safer for everyone.
