Hmmmmm,My Good Nephew Cocoa Can Now Fill His Wardrobe With Expensive Wears —Peter

According to a Post on Peter Tawaih official facebook account on Monday, October 19,2026,Ghanaian social commentator Peter Tawaih has raised allegations about the purported share of a mining-related “load” received by the New Democratic Congress (NDC) Acting Communications Officer for Tarkwa Nsuaem, popularly known as Cocoa.

In a Facebook post, Tawaih suggested that Cocoa may be benefiting from activities connected to gold mining, claiming that the alleged share of the mining load for the week could be worth a substantial amount of money.

Expressing surprise at the alleged development, Tawaih remarked that the NDC communicator could now afford expensive clothing, adding that he felt disappointed at not receiving a portion of the purported mining material himself.

Tawaih explained that the term “load” in mining communities refers to rocks or stones containing gold-bearing material extracted from underground. He further claimed that a bag of the material could be worth at least GH¢200,000, although he provided no evidence to substantiate the valuation or the alleged arrangement.

In a sarcastic tone, the commentator lamented what he portrayed as being left out of the supposed benefits, suggesting that his relationship with Cocoa should have earned him a share.

“Hmmm, power sweet,” Tawaih wrote, apparently using the expression to question the benefits that may come with political influence.

The commentator also attributed the information and accompanying photograph to disgruntled NDC members in the Tarkwa Nsuaem area, although he did not provide further details about the individuals or the circumstances surrounding the allegation.

The post raises questions about possible links between political figures and mining-related benefits in the Tarkwa Nsuaem area, a locality known for its gold-mining activities.
