Eamonn Holmes’ inner circle are reportedly mistrusting of his girlfriend Katie Alexander and believe she may be after ā€œhis money and fameā€.

The GB News presenter, 66, began dating the relationship counsellor, 45, in 2024 after his split from wife Ruth Langsford and she later moved into his £1.3 million rented Surrey flat.

It was reported earlier this month that Alexander has moved out of the three-bedroom property while Holmes remains in hospital recovering from his stroke in April.

Alexander – who shared a pointed post about ā€œknowing her worthā€ last week – is reportedly feeling ā€œcast asideā€ since Holmes ex-wives Langsford and Gabrielle Holmes reportedly started caring for him in hospital.

Holmes’ loves ones have been putting out an ā€œunfair narrativeā€ about Alexander’s intentions with the presenter, sources claimed.

“Katie has been left out in the cold, on her own, and that is very upsetting for her,ā€ an insider told The Daily Mail.

“There are some people close to Eamonn who think Katie is after his money and the fame that goes with being his girlfriend. That is the narrative some have put out about her which is deeply unfair.”

The source added that Alexander ā€œadores Eamonn” and is “heartbroken” that he is unwell. The Standard has contacted representatives for Alexander and Holmes for comment.

It comes after reports that Alexander has moved out of Holmes’ apartment.

The mother-of-three lives in West Yorkshire but has been splitting her time between there and the Surrey apartment, The Sun reported. It is unclear where Holmes will live when he leaves the hospital, according to the outlet.

ā€œKatie is still very much together with Eamonn and in love, but she’s moved out of the flat,ā€ a source said.

ā€œIt’s an incredibly sad situation — she loved it there and the time they spent together making it home. Katie has been Eamonn’s rock and lifeline since he fell ill. She’s willing him to get back to full fitness and get their lives back on track.ā€

Langsford has been ā€˜caring’ for Holmes in hospital, sources claimed PA ArchiveDays after the reports emerged, Alexander shared a a bikini selfie on her Instagram Stories and captioned it: ā€œThere is a quiet kind of strength in becoming comfortable with who you are.

ā€œNo longer needing to prove, explain or seek validation – just choosing peace, protecting your energy and finding beauty in the life you’re creating.ā€

She concluded: ā€œSoftness is strength. Peace is luxury. And knowing your worth changes everything. Starting with yourself.ā€

Meanwhile, Langsford is believed to have joined Holmes’ first wife, Gabrielle Holmes, with whom he has three children, at their ā€œvulnerableā€ ex’s bedside in hospital.

The Loose Women presenter, 66, who has a son, Jack, 24, with Holmes, is understood to have put their divorce battle behind her and has bonded with Gabrielle over their ā€œserious concernsā€ about Holmes’ wellbeing.

Alexander shared this pointed post last week InstagramHolmes and Langsford are believed to be due in court again in November over the division of their joint Ā£10 million fortune – but it is not known whether this will still go ahead, according to the publication.

Holmes’ future at GB News has faced doubt in light of his multiple health issues. He was hospitalised after he was reportedly found ā€œslumped and out coldā€ at his home.

Holmes shared a message from his hospital bed in April, posting a photo of his two granddaughters with a handmade ā€œGet well soom [sic]ā€ card for him.

He captioned the post: ā€œAs my beautiful granddaughters put it so well – I will do my best to get well SOON. Thank you for all of your many many good wishes, they give me strength.ā€

The broadcaster has endured multiple health problems in the past few years, and recently revealed dealing with illness and mobility issues have been ā€œhorrendousā€.

Holmes underwent a double hip replacement in 2016. Five years later, he suffered three slipped discs and a dislocated pelvis.

The presenter later had spinal surgery and his ongoing mobility issues mean he now often uses a walker or wheelchair.
