‘Burn seers, not Ravana’: Post on Dussehra-eve lands CG teacher in jail

Raipur: “Burn the sages and seers, not Ravana”. This controversial social media post has now landed a govt school teacher in Chhattisgarh’s Jashpur district behind bars after a Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) functionary lodged a police complaint over it, alleging objectionable references to Hindu deities, scriptures and religious figures.
