In an interview with Zoom, Aman was reminded about what he said in Bigg Boss 20 when he became emotional and remembered his ex Shagun. Aman clarified what he meant from his ‘move on’ comment: “Emotions are very heightened in the house. Whatever you think, you think very deeply. So that was that moment. But that was it. I knew that the breakup had happened. I was in an emotional zone where I cried; Arishfa [Khan] was talking about Shagun, and suddenly I remembered her.”

The actor didn’t want to dig deep into their past relationship, but he said, “I came and saw Shagun’s interview, and she said one thing that was going in the public domain and talking about [their relationship]. She looked very uncomfortable, and she was uncomfortable talking about it, so let’s respect that. If it was about before, I would have said something, but I don’t have the right to say something now. She is uncomfortable, so let’s respect her side of it and not talk about what is happening in the current situation.”

The actor also spoke about his dust up with Nakul Dhull in the house. He recalled, “[Nakul] hadn’t questioned my sexuality; he said I want to try with you. If he had asked about my sexuality, I would have said I’m straight, and the conversation would be over. But he was in a mischievous zone; I also knew where he was taking it. I was like, I’m straight. But it went to this homophobic angle and other angles, so then it became awkward. It felt like when you are on stage, you feel I’m not going to get up and go, let’s try and be brave. But I was feeling very awkward from inside. So that was that.”

Later, he decided to talk it out so that it doesn’t become a bigger issue. Aman added, “He also came and very maturely told me that you can come and tell; I think you felt really bad about it. I’m sorry.” Aman accepted his apology as he sensibly came and decided to apologise for the uncomfortable situation.
