Deputies responded at 7:02 p.m. to Canyon Park Apartments in the 11000 block of 56th Avenue Court East after a woman reported that her boyfriend had been shot.

They found a man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and took him to a hospital, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies said they had probable cause to believe the woman shot him.
