RBS 0-4 MIL: Match Review And Latest Europa League Table

According to a report by BBC Sport on Thursday, October 15, 2026, AC Milan secured a vital 4-0 victory over RB Salzburg in their UEFA Europa League encounter.

Milan started the match with confidence and took the lead in the 15th minute when Cisse found the back of the net after receiving a pass from Omari Hutchinson. The forward continued to trouble Salzburg’s defence and doubled his side’s advantage in the 33rd minute, finishing off an assist from Davide Bartesaghi.

Salzburg struggled to respond as Milan controlled the game and created more chances before the half-time break. The Austrian side needed a strong second-half performance to get back into the contest, but their hopes of making a comeback suffered another setback shortly after the restart.

Cisse completed his hat-trick in the 49th minute, scoring his third goal of the night after Adrien Rabiot provided the assist. His impressive performance gave Milan a comfortable three-goal lead and left Salzburg with a difficult task if they wanted to avoid a heavy defeat on home soil.

Milan continued to push forward as the match progressed, and their attacking efforts produced another goal in the 72nd minute when Goncalo Ramos finished off a move created by Ardon Jashari. The fourth goal effectively ended Salzburg’s hopes of getting anything from the encounter.

The home side’s difficult evening became worse in the 84th minute when Filippo Terracciano was shown a red card, leaving Milan with an even greater advantage as they managed the closing stages without allowing Salzburg to score.

The important victory sees AC Milan move to 15th position on the UEFA Europa League table, while RB Salzburg dropped to 19th position after suffering a heavy defeat in front of their home supporters.
