‘It’s War’ – Real Madrid TV Goes On Attack Ahead Of El Clasico With Barcelona
Share on Twitter Real Madrid TV has unsurprisingly gone on the attack after Vinicius Jr was handed a four-match ban for a hair pull, ruling him out of El Clasico.
Vinicius was sent off in the win over Villarreal, but his suspension was issued on Wednesday, and he will now miss some time.
Real Madrid TV responded angrily to the punishment, claiming that Barcelona would have received different treatment.
“Now, regarding Vinícius, well, it’s war,” was the initial reaction, according to barca news. The vehement declaration was followed by the assertion that “this team has to fight against all of that in the Spanish competition… It’s a different story there.”
There was also an allegation that Vinicius is “poorly protected compared to how other stars are protected,” and the presenter couldn’t resist taking a go at the champions, saying, “I can’t imagine something like that at Can Barcelona.”
Referees were apparently expecting Real Madrid to put more pressure on officials ahead of El Clasico, and they appear to have been proven correct immediately.
Hernandez Hernandez, the match official, is now set to referee the major encounter at Camp Nou on October 25th.
