When Ghanaians are fed up with NDC after 42 years, they will do the needful by voting them out

In an Official Facebook Post on 14 October 2026, Kevin Taylor, through his With All Due Respect platform, congratulated the two newly appointed Deputy Commissioners of the Electoral Commission while delivering a fiery defense of their appointment. He expressed hope that they would bring the transformation Ghanaians expect, restore declining confidence in the EC, and strengthen its credibility.  

Taylor argued that the NDC government does not owe the NPP any explanations regarding constitutionally mandated appointments. He dismissed criticisms from the opposition as political noise, insisting that the real judgment will come from the people of Ghana at the ballot box. According to him, the two commissioners are competent, hardworking, and qualified, and their appointment should be assessed on merit rather than partisan attacks.  

He reminded readers that Jean Mensa, appointed under the NPP, remains the Chairperson of the EC, and the institution continues to function as an independent constitutional body. Vacancies created by the resignation of Bossman Asare and the retirement of Samuel Tettey had to be filled, and Taylor questioned why such replacements should suddenly become controversial.  

Taylor’s post also emphasized that the NDC has been given a mandate by the people and must use it to govern, make appointments, and deliver on promises. He noted that if Ghanaians become dissatisfied after decades, they will vote the party out, but until then, the government must focus on real issues such as repairing the economy, creating jobs, improving education and healthcare, and addressing infrastructure and security.  

His commentary dismissed opposition critics as “unprincipled morons” and urged the government to ignore distractions. For Taylor, the focus should remain on the needs of ordinary Ghanaians rather than partisan bickering. His message reinforced the idea that the legitimacy of appointments and governance decisions rests with the people, who ultimately decide at the ballot box.
